From the description: This basic stockinette stitch hat with a rolled edge is a great project for trying this technique. Here you slide a bead in front of every other stitch along the row. Try it in simple black and white, as shown in the book, or in bold colors, changing beads and yarn colors with each row.

Note: Hat is worked flat and then sewn together.
