A merry little knit for little folk!

The cardigan is knitted from the top down with a steek at the centre front. Short rows below the neck edging drop the front neck. The icord piping details are worked integrally by working applied icord then picking up stitches along the icord to continue working with.

The tension/gauge stated above is for single colour stocking stitch/stockinette. Tension on the stranded yoke section is 32 stitches and 32 rounds per 10cm/4”.

The finished cardigan has 10–13cm (4–5”) of positive ease at the chest.

Yarn requirements:
You will need a 50g skein in each of two contrast colours, and 3(3:4:4:5:5:5:6:6) 50g skeins of main colour in an even 4ply/fingering weight yarn with approximately 187 metres (204 yards) per 100g.

The pictured sample was made with King Cole Merino Blend 4ply in the Cranberry #703, Aran #46, and Fern #854 shades.

You will also need 6(6:7:7:7:8:8:8:8) 12mm/½“ buttons.
