Put your passion in your fashion!

They provide us with the best fibre known to humankind, so of course knitters love sheep! Declare that love with this cosy cowl, designed for woolly comfort in cold weather. Featuring sheep and shepherd’s plaid, it will definitely suit ewe!

To make Dewlap at the tension/gauge given above you will need up to 115 metres/126 yards of your main colour, and up to 150 metres/164 yards of contrast colour. The pictured sample was knitted with baa ram ewe Dovestone DK, a wonderfully sheepy 100% British wool yarn, full of Yorkshire loveliness!

Please note the pattern only includes instructions for knitting the cowl, not the matching hat and fingerless mittens. You can find the Shornies hat pattern here, and the Gimmers fingerless mittens pattern here.
