This is a pattern for a 0-3 month size photo props romper that has pearl beading details on the front. The name “Greta” was chosen because it means “pearl.”

The romper is a sleeveless tank top style with a button closure at the back neck.

This makes a beautiful addition to your baby’s photo session. It also is a great gift for baby showers!

Finished piece measures 16” around at waist, 12” long from shoulder to crotch.

200 yds medium (#4) weight yarn (I Love This Yarn ‘Hot Orchid’)
Pearl Beads

Circular Knitting Needles Size US 7
Crochet Hook Size 8 (1.5mm)
Crochet shook Size H (5.00mm)

Gauge: 18 st x 24 rws = 4” in Stockinette

Pattern notes:
This romper is knitted all in one piece by using provisional cast on behind the shoulders. It is knitted over the shoulders, down the front, around the bottom and back up to behind the shoulders. Kitchener stitch is used to attach the back stitches to the live provisional cast on stitches. The piece is then seamed up the sides. The beads are added as you go, using a crochet hook to pull the yarn through the bead.

Care: Machine wash gentle cycle. Tumble dry low.
