This is a pattern for a stuffed toy hare in a romper. The toy and the romper are knitted flat on 2 needles and then sewn. For the hare’s body, legs and arms I used different oddments in the blue range. You can knit in one plain color or use a self-striping yarn.

MATERIALS: 3 different shades oddments of blue DK yarn:
20 - 30 g
grey DK yarn approximately: 10 g
piece of a strong pink thread for the nose
piece of a strong white thread for the eyes (I
used embroidery threads.)

KNITTING GAUGE:
24 sts and 28 rows to 10 x 10 cm = 4” x 4” in stocking stitch (knit row on right side, purl row on wrong side) and 2.5 mm needles.

Gauge is not critical for this project. Work tight enough to make sure the stuffing would not show through the stitches.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 23 cm/ 9’’ (without the ears)
The size will vary based on yarn type, needle size and your personal tension.

1 x 2.5 mm needles
1 x 2.75 mm needles for the romper
