A reversible scarf with a large shawl collar in a self-made tweed mixture of Rowan Lima and Rowan Fine Tweed. Two staghorn cables form the stitch pattern combined with garter stitch edges and shawl collar. Wear it as a scarf with the collar tight around your neck, or as a shawl with the collar around your shoulders. You can even wear it upside down with the collar as a shaped curve, or as a top around your bust pinned together with a shawl pin.

Note: Yarns are held together throughout.

Needles: 5.5 mm/US 9 circular needle (80 cm/32”).
Adjust needle size as needed to match gauge.

Notions: Cable needle, 2 stitch markers, waste yarn and yarn needle.

Gauge:
20 sts and 30 rows in garter st using both yarns held together measures 10 cm/4” square before blocking.
20 sts and 27 rows in garter st using both yarns held together measures 10 cm/4” square after blocking.

Notes: The scarf is reversible and the stitches are worked in garter stitch and rib throughout. Stitches for the shawl collar are picked up after the scarf is knitted. The garter stitch collar is shaped by increases on either side of a center stitch which is worked in reversible stockinette stitch, and by short row shaping.
