Grab a skein of worsted weight yarn and start knitting the I Dream of Beanie hat. It’s a classic knit hat with an easy-to-remember and fun-to-knit 4-Stitch Cable pattern. The hat is knit in the round, from the bottom up, and designed to have a close fit. Knit in a worsted weight yarn, I Dream of Beanie hat is a quick knit project that will keep your head warm and cozy in a “blink.”

The hat comes in 4 sizes, but can easily be adjusted by adding or subtracting a multiple of 8 stitches from the given number in the pattern instructions. A single pattern repeat (8 stitches by 8 rounds) adds or subtracts approximately 1.5″ (3.75 cm) in circumference and .5″ (1.25 cm) in length for the finished measurement.

Gauge is measured by knitting the 4-Stitch Cable Repeat pattern in the round using appropriate size needles to obtain gauge.

105 (130, 155, 185) yds / 96 (118, 141, 185) m of medium weight yarn in CYC #4 weight.

Notions Needed -
Cable Needle (optional)
