Little Laufin
Some of my patterns have longer histories than others, Laufin is one of those patterns. I drew the first sketch-like chart in spring 2017, the same year I used it for a baby sweater for my son. That autumn I also made two adult sized sweaters, but still no pattern. Three years later I started to wonder if I should try to step out of my comfort zone and make a sweater pattern. I drew and re-drew the chart, I knitted and re-knitted and the result became the sweater Laufin.
But it didn’t stop there, I craved to make a matching sweater for my son and so Little Laufin came to be.
The sweater is meant to be worn with a 3-4 cm of positive ease, as to fit on top of other garments with extra long cuffs to fold to make the sweater last longer. Remember that children are wonderfully unique, please look extra carefully on the sizing chart to make sure you get the fit right for your particular receiver! Choose a smaller size if you prefer a tighter fit and vice versa, this might mean that you need to add length to sleeves and body or make it shorter.
