The shape of the crown can be perfectly spherical, slightly or extra pointy, depending on your design.

1. Yarn: choose any yarn suitable for a 3.5 mm – 6 mm crochet hook.
100 g for a medium-sized beanie and 200g for the hat with a wide fold.
Solid colors, tweeds, hand-dyed yarns. Variegated yarns will obscure the stitch pattern but can add other interesting effects. Z twist yarns are not recommended for this kind of stitching.
3. Tapestry needle for assembly and weaving in.
