This textured stitch cowl has a slightly tapered shape. It is worked in rounds so no sewing up is required. Wear it bunched up around your neck or pull it down over your shoulders - the choice is yours.

It is knitted in Champetre yarn, which comes in a gorgeous range of tonal colours, and can be purchased from my Knitting Patterns Online website.

Width at cast on edge: 93cm 36½ ins
Depth: 48cm 19 ins.

Yarn required: 4 balls Plassard, Champetre, 50g balls@125m.

Needles required: A 5.50mm UK 5, US 9 circular knitting needle, 60cm 23½ ins long.
Wool needle for sewing in ends.

Tension: 18 sts and 26 rows to 10cm 4 ins over patt, using 5.50mm needles.
