This Neck Scarf is worked in a lovely mock cable stitch. The ‘keyhole’ keeps the Scarf fastened and adds an interesting flair to the design. It is knitted in Kilcarra Tweed yarn, which is approximately a 12ply, and can be purchased from my Knitting Yarns Online website. For a matching family beanie, see my Presley pattern.

Width: 12cm 5 ins
Length: 90cm 35½ ins.

Yarn required: 2 balls Knoll Kilcarra Tweed, 50g balls@80m.

Needles required: A pair of 5.00mm UK 6, US 8 knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing in ends.

Tension: 16 sts and 23 rows to 10cm 4 ins over stocking st, using 5.00mm needles.
