Ripple handwarmers and mittens
This pattern was influenced by some yarn created by Skein Queen called Seven Swans and by a walk along the edge of the river and the ripples you see.
The pattern includes instructions for making handwarmers and the mittens.
Both patterns include thumbs.
Recommended Yarn:
The yarn is hand dyed by Skein Queen, Plushness, DK light sport/ 5ply (12 wpi)
UK yarn, dyed in the UK. Approx 150 yards/ 50g required for mittens main colour (MC )and small amount of Contrast Colour (CC)
This pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters.
Skills: Basic chart reading, knitting in the round, magic Loop/ DPN’s

Mittens (inc cuff): (s) 25cms/ 9.75 inches long, 17.25cms/6.75 inches wide, (m) 26cms/ 10.25 inches long, 19cms/7.5 inches wide, (l) 27cms/ 10.75 inches long, 20cms/8 inches wide
Handwarmers (s) 20cms/ 8 inches long and 17.25cms/6.76 inches wide, (m) 21.5cms/ 8.5 inches long and 19cms/7.5 inches wide, (l) 23cms/ 9 inches long and 20cms/8 inches wide
Gauge, stocking st unblocked following the chart in the round = 4” / 10cm

(m) 3.00mm for rib, 3.5mm for glove/mittens
