This is the quintessential lace scarf to welcome spring and the warm weather season. It is worked in two halves and joined at the center. The border is worked in smocked lace pattern, and the remainder of the scarf is worked in bottle stitch. Directions are given in text and chart format.

Materials
• 400 yards fingering weight yarn CYCA #2 (suggested yarn: LOUET “Euroflax” 100% wet spun linen 2 skeins, shown in crabapple)
• US 6 (4.0 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
• tapestry needle for finishing
Gauge
4-3/4 sts / 6-1/4 rows = 1”, in bottle stitch pattern after blocking
