This is a wonderful knit bag pattern that has tons of uses! Expands for everything, and makes a great gift. Gauge is not critical. You will want to only test your gauge for the US#4 circular knit band, to make sure it makes a band as firm as you want. You can knit the body as deep or shallow as you want.
