The Sweet Treats ebook presents two patterns that were written for the Red Riding Hood 2012 Yarn Club. They feature 8ply yarn, and both have lovely cupcake colourwork.

The first sweet treat is the cupcake hat, which can be embellished with sprinkles and features a ‘cherry on the top’.

The hat comes in four sizes:
Size 1: baby (not newborn) 14 inch
Size 2: Toddler approx 16 inch
Size 3: Child approx 18 inch
Size 4: Teen/Adult approx 20 inch

Little mittens to match the hat: these mittens are almost good enough to eat! These mittens are knit flat and then seamed afterwards. You will need circular needles or DPNs for knitting the thumb. You can knit them as mittens, or make fingerless mittens if you would prefer.
