Our new and updated Shetland yarn range, inspired by our love of coffee, our favorite brew enjoyed in the workplace and at home.

Shetland fleece is one of the finest of all British Breed wools. We have selected the finest we can find so our worsted spun yarns are amongst the softest available. Shetland yarn is known for being silky, soft, and yet strong, and durable – making it the ideal yarn for knitting.

Shetland sheep fleeces range from white, through creams, fawns to mid (moorit) and deep browns and also come in greys (katmogit pale to darker) and almost black. We blend a selection of these shades together to produce six slightly heathered in 4-ply. The colours can be worked together to create traditional Fair-isle patterns or more modern but subtle styles. You could even create a beautiful gradient garment using these tonal shades.

Formerly sold in 50 gram skeins with 190 yds. Please adjust yardage and skein weight on individual stash entries. This is the same base yarn.
