Pattern description from Knit.1, Winter 2007/2008: “Giddy up - emphasis on giddy. Donna Childs’s knee-high stirrup socks, stitched in ‘Bamboo Wool’ from Moda Dea/Coats & Clark, are worked from the heather gray garter stitch cuffs, then ribbed down in periwinkle to the notched stirrups.”
