#28 Side Wrapped Jacket
Standard-fitting, skirted jacket with interesting texture, sassy one-sided pleat, wide ribbed waistband, notched collar, and side button closures.
Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Fall 2009: “A sassy one-sided pleat is just one of the pleasures of Deborah Newton’s skirted jacket, knit in ‘Handspun Semi Solids’ from Manos del Uruguay/Fairmount Fibers. The texture pattern is made from short lines of knit stitches staggered on a background of reverse stockinette. The lapels are picked up and knit to form a classic notched collar.”
