This new yarn, Alpaca Air, is tubular in construction with a light cage cover. The finished yarn is brushed Alpaca so it stays light and easy but has some thickness. The body is worked from the bottom up with ribbed border that turns to triangles that turn plain for the body. When done, the ribbed border is top crochet and fringed as desired. We used color on color but original is in opposite colors so fringe really show up.
