  1. Throw is worked in one piece, using just the knit stitch and 4 strands of yarn held together.
  2. When working with multiple strands of yarn, hold all strands together and work just as if using one strand.
  3. To help keep yarns from tangling, you may find it helpful to put each skein into a separate zip lock bag. Zip each bag nearly closed, leaving an opening just large enough for the yarn strand to emerge.
  4. Throw is worked on a circular needle to accommodate the width of the stitches. Work back and forth in rows on the circular needle, just as if working with straight needles.
  5. To change yarn colors, just cut the unneeded colors, leaving long yarn tails, then begin knitting with the new colors, leaving long beginning yarn tails. You’ll weave all these tails in after you’ve finished knitting the Throw.
