This pattern was designed for a family member who loves going to Africa. The blanket is a new twist on an African safari with lions, elephants, giraffes and hippos for your knitting pleasure.

The sample was knit on size 7 needles in Berroco Comfort yarn (falseberry heather (290 yds), smokestack grey (175 yds), pumpkin(200-225 yds), goldenrod (100 yds), and cadet blue (125 yds)). If you are a loose knitter, you might want to go down a needle size, or purchase additional yarn. The finished size is approximately 33” x 36”.

The pattern has a color chart of the full blanket, as well as the individual animal charts with written instructions included.
