Crochet Dog Pattern Pdf Tutorial, cute amigurumi puppy

This adorable crochet dog pattern is easy to follow and learn, even if you’re a beginner to crochet. To make your own puppy some basic crochet skills are needed, such as: a magic ring, crocheting in the round, single crochet stitch (sc), single crochet increase (Inc), single crochet decrease (sc2tog), making a color change, weaving in yarn ends and joining pieces together.

The pattern includes instructions for crocheting the dog and the hat. It does not include instructions for making the sunglasses or lifebelt featured in the photos.

Finished size: If made with sport-weight yarn and a 2.5 mm hook, the crochet dog is approx. 6” (15 cm) tall

Materials

• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• sport-weight cotton yarn:
white (110 yards/100 meters) and black (55 yards/50 meters)
pink, 8 yards/7.5 meters (the hat)
a piece of of red and green yarn (hat embellishments)
• soft stuffing
• a pair of 8 mm black eyes
• stitch marker, a long tapestry needle, scissors and sewing pins

Flecky is a stray dog. He lives in a cardboard box and is happy to have many doggy and human friends. He also loves to play with cats.
