Anacortes
Color brioche knitting looks more challenging than it appears, but don’t let it intimidate or fool you. You’ll be surprised at how easy it actually is and get fantastic results to boot! No matter which cowl you choose to make, both are good introductory projects into brioche knitting and are wonderful additions to your accessories wardrobe, or that of a loved one.
Anacortes uses a basic 2-color brioche knitting technique. Anacortes is worked in the round in a looser gauge and is fairly easy — really!
If you like Anacortes, also check out its sister pattern in a different brioche stitch, Friday Harbor. In photos, Friday Harbor is the shorter cowl on the blonde model.
