Angel Rae
by Ray Whiting
This pattern is
available from knitivity.com
for $7.00.
Simple triangle shawl can be knit by almost any knitter; designed to be knit from the center bottom-upward, this pattern lends itself to modifying to either a center down double-triangle or even a center-out square.
Pattern package is 10 pages of charts and explanatory notes to facilitate knitting.
The original is knit with a fingering weight wool. If knitted in a sport or worsted weight, it would make a lovely afghan or sofa blanket.
“Angel Rae” is the first in a series of shawls and stoles to be named after my grandkids.
