Ann's Accidental Plaid Afghan
by Ann Yotter
This machine knit afghan is done in strips and then seamed together with crochet hook. The cable is an 8-stitch braided cable or plaited cable. There is a cable cross-over every 3 rows, which takes awhile to do. The variegated sections are stockinette, so they knit fast. I’ve only had the variegated section knit in plaid once, but I still love this pattern.
No gauge is given in the pattern. On a Bond machine, use keyplate 3; on other machines, swatch to find a stitch tension you like.
