This is written for the advanced beginner, if you can knit, purl, work a k2tg and ssk you can make this. The pattern is much easier than it looks with extra directions for the “tricky” parts.

This is Aurora’s Cowl reworked for 1 skein of Classic Elite Villa.
The mixture of baby alpaca and bamboo makes a lovely all season accessory.

A light-fingering or lace-weight yarn can be used as well.

The gauge swatch is worked in garter stitch to give the knitter an easy starting point. Of course as you knit the lace pattern the finished garment will be a looser knit.

The pattern gives instructions for joining in the round.

You will need: 24” circular needle (wooden needle is best),
in size to meet gauge.
(I used a US#6 but this may not work for you).
A needle 2 sizes larger for the bind off.
Stitch markers, row counter, pin/row markers.
