This pattern is for a pair of ruffled and beaded socks. The pattern contains instructions for two different methods of bead knitting, and both work equally well. The beads are all preloaded, so that you don’t have to spend much more time knitting the socks than you normally would. The beads used are Miyuki Size #8 gold lustered beads, which show nicely but won’t pull on your socks as you wear them. The socks are also designed so that you won’t break a bead with the back of your shoe even though the beading is also on the back of the sock. The top is finished with a small ruffle.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting and purling)

This pattern is written for 2 circular needles and is written for sizes Small, Medium and Large.

The sock pictured here was made with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock yarn, in colorway, Bold Red

This pattern was expertly tested by Rebecca Wood. (rkwood16@gmail.com), who used the first (and slightly more difficult) method of bead knitting, and is known on Ravelry as Rebs16.

I am known on Ravelry as anewyarn123 and Linda Lehman Designs.
