This design originally appeared in the magazine as part of a set.

  • Cloche Pattern requires 693 (48g) of beads that fit onto yarn (size 5 or 6).
  • Ascot pattern requires 506 (35g) of beads.
  • Finished size: Cloche: 21” circumference. Ascot: 6.5” x 40”

Yardage Requirements:

  • Cloche: 170 yds.
  • Ascot: 255 yds. Only 340 yds. (4 skeins) needed to make both pieces.

A simple hat and scarf set is given elegance with the addition of beads. Pre-stringing the beads is essential for fun and easy knitting - the beads simply slide between stitches as you knit.
