Scallops of color elevate this beanie- making the stitching fun, and the finished project extra-special. Only one color is used at a time, which keeps the color-work super-approachable for those newer to crochet. With so many beautiful Swish colors to choose from, you can truly personalize this project for any color palate!

Includes photo-tutorial for colorwork section.

Finished Measurements
16” (18- 20, 22, 24)” 40.5 (45.5, 51, 56, 61) cm finished circumference; 6.25 (7, 7.75, 8.5, 9.25)” 16 (18, 19.5, 21.5, 23.5) cm tall.
Hat fits best when it measures about 0-1.75” 0-4.5 cm smaller than head measurement. 22” Beanie is shown modeled on 22” Head.
Length of hat is easily adjustable. There should be enough C2 yarn to extend each size hat by about 1” 2.5cm. However if you plan to extend the length of the hat further, you may need an extra skein of the C2 color (especially for the 22” size).

Yarn
Swish (worsted weight, 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool; 110 yds/50g): MC Throne #28662, 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) ball(s); C1 Amethyst Heather #25147, 1 skein each size; C2 Eggplant #25152, 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) ball(s)
Note: the 22” size uses nearly all of the MC yarn. Purchase one extra skein for insurance, especially if you are not super confident about your gauge. Another option if you only purchase 1 skein (and you feel you are running out of yarn) is to make a slightly smaller pompom, OR to make the pom-pom with MC and C1 held together.
