Construction Notes
C² Colorado Squared is knitted in stockinette stitch using both stranded color work and intarsia. Experience working with color work is good but not necessary. In fact, this might be a good project to practice and learn both techniques, since the back side of your work
will be the inside of a pillow!
There are many videos available on YouTube showing different ways to hold your yarn, how to carry the yarn you are not using across the back (floats) successfully, and how to do intarsia.
Here is a great YouTube by Eunny Jang on

The book Mastering Color Knitting by Melissa
Leapman is also a great resource.
Finished Measurements:
14.5” by 14.5”
Gauge:
5.5 - 6 stitches per inch in stockinette before blocking
Gauge is not critical for this pattern. It is important to create a fairly dense fabric so the floats of different colored yarns are not visible from the right side of the square
