Simple knits and purls adorn the body of this cardigan in beautifully textural chevrons. Paired with a simple construction, minimal seaming, and lightweight yarn, it’s the perfect easy-breezy cardigan for warm weather layering.

The cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up. The main body is worked in one piece on large circular needles (do not join in the round). At the armholes, the body is divided into the fronts
and back with each worked separately. The sleeves are worked flat from the cuff up and are seamed into the sweater armholes.
Stitch markers are helpful over the body, placing them every 8 stitches, to help keep track of the stitch pattern repeat.
The stitch patterns are both written in pattern and charted (to the right) for your preference.
