Carlie’s Fingerless Mitts
Chuck’s daughter, Carlie, asked him to knit her a pair of fingerless mitts with lightweight yarn. Chuck is our knitting friend, and when we met, he had already learned the basics and knit several washcloths. After knitting many hats this winter, he was enthusiastic about knitting sport weight mitts for Carlie. Chuck and I worked together on the design and sizing and are delighted to hear that Carlie likes them and they are a perfect fit! I hope you will enjoy them, too!
There are two sizes in the pattern, small and medium. Gauge measures 5 sts./in. per inch in stockinette stitch. The mitts are 8 ½“ long.

Carlie’s mitts are size small and the tan color way.
I also knit a pair in medium using the pink shade of Sueño.
