This is probably my most unique shawl pattern, and although the knit-purl stitches are fairly, simple, the shawl is not. This unique ribbed lace is created using “make-1-knit” and make-1-purl stitches, and knit decreases.

If you enjoy trying new types of stitch arrangements, you’ll enjoy this pattern, and have a very unique FO to show off. (I really don’t think my pictures do it justice.)

The placement of the stitches creates scalloped sides as well as bottom/top scallops.

There are also instructions contained within the pattern for an optional crocheted edging.

Skill level: Intermediate - Intermediate+

This pattern is charted only.

You can knit this shawl as long or short as you like. The one shown is 84 inches creating a long lacy shawl. It is knit with Mrs. Crosby’s Hat Box yarn in Monkey Orchid.

The wrap was expertly pattern tested by Kelleigh Bland, who can be reached at: kelleighz@outlook.com
