If you purchase 5 of my self-published designs at the same time (they need to be in the same cart), you will get the least expensive for free!

Nothing can beat a warm, colorful fair-isle cowl on chilly evenings. “Cecily’s Cowl” is worked in the round, like a tube that’s seamed at the end in the form of a moebius. You can make it long and shorter (if you work blue chart box just once) or continue until you’re satisfied, or run out of yarn.

Size
Circumference: approx. 91 cm / 36.5”
Width: approx. 27.5 cm / 11”
Finished measurements are easily adjustable.

Yarn
7 skeins Swans Island All American Sport (100% Rambouillet wool; 169m / 185y per 40g): approx. 846.5 m/ 925.5y total of sport weight yarn divided among 5 colors:
CC1: 2 skeins - 321m / 351y.
CC2: 1 skein - 123.5m / 135 y.
CC3: 2 skeins - 193m / 211 y.
CC4: 1 skein - 116m / 127 y.
CC5: 1 skein - 93 m / 101.5 y.

The pattern has been designed for sport weight yarn, but you can make the cowl using fingering weight yarn, as long as you are satisfied with the feel of the fabric. The yardage may vary then a little.
