This pretty origami-like piece is an excellent example of how versatile the humble rectangle can be. Worked in alternating bands of fingering-weight Sparrow and worsted-weight Kestrel, the fabric is stretchy and pliable, held in check by Cella’s cleverly applied ribbing. Short rows are used to shape the ribbed border, and Framework includes an illustrated step-by-step process for the yarn-over short row method.
