Chalet sweater is worked seamlessly from top to bottom as one piece using circular needles. The yoke is created with raglan increases, and the design features a high ribbed collar, as well as ribbed cuffs and hem.

In the first section, the main color is Dough (beige). In the second section, a bit of color is introduced by striping with Beachflower, where in addition to beige, there are some slightly darker brown shades. In the third section, the main color has changed to be entirely Beachflower. In the fourth section, the base is knitted with the dark color, Tartan. Different sections are separated by accent stripes that you can choose to highlight or blend into the pattern. The blue pattern, knitted with the color Lake, begins at chest height and ends at the hem ribbing. You can play with the main color endlessly: create a subtle transition from one shade to another, or knit each section distinctly with different colored yarns.

LITLG DK Twist (100% fine merino, 251 yds / 230 m – 100 g) and LITLG Singles (100% merino, 400 yds / 366 m – 100 g), or other dk weight yarn or fingering weight yarn held double. Shown in colors Dough (C1), Lake (C2) and Ionia (C3) using LITLG DK Twist and Beachflower (C4) and Tartan (C5) using two strands of LITLG Singles.
