Tiny, five-pointed crochet stars make such pretty Christmas tree decorations. Work the pattern in fine cotton, then dip the stars into a solution of stiff-finish starch or PVA craft medium (white craft glue) diluted with cold water. Make sure you let each star dry thoroughly after pinning it out to shape, then remove the pins, thread narrow ribbon through one of the points and hang the star on the tree. You could also work this design in fine gold or silver yarn.
