With its large open collar, modified dropped shoulders and generous cuffs, this sweater will be a super cozy and stylish addition to your wardrobe!

Fit Notes:

As written, the pattern has looser than standard cuffs, as well as slightly longer sleeves, and a somewhat cropped body (measures 13 inches (33 cm) from the underarm). These features can easily be modified, however, as the sweater is worked from the top down.

The intended ease is approximately 6 inches (15 cm), which means it is recommended you choose a size that is about 6 inches more than your actual chest circumference at its largest point.

Technical Notes:

You begin by knitting the textured collar, followed by the shoulder panels and yoke sections. These parts are knit flat, and then the sleeves and body are knit in the round.

The pattern includes a few diagrams to provide additional guidance, as the construction is somewhat unusual!

Techniques include: knitting flat and in the round, short rows, picking up sts, and basic increases and decreases.

Please note that stitches need to be put on hold in several sections of the instructions. Whenever this is the case, it is suggested whether to use a stitch holder, waste yarn, spare needle, or cord (e.g. Barber cord, Coco Knits leather cord, or cable from an interchangeable needle set). These are just suggestions and alternative methods may be used depending on your preference and/or what you have available. Waste yarn can always be used!
