Easy hat and mittens are a great cold-weather project and perfect for gifts. Sized to fit average lady. Shown in Patons Shetland Chunky 3607 Harvest Varg., using 5.5 mm (US I or 9) and 6 mm (US J or 10) crochet hook. (Patons Yarns)

Materials
Patons® Shetland Chunky (100 g / 3.5 oz)
Hat (03607 Harvest Variegate) 4 balls

Sizes 5.5 mm (U.S. I or 9) and 6 mm (U.S. J or 10) crochet hook or size needed to obtain tension.

Hat is worked in rounds from the top down. Finish with reverse single crochet edging.
