The body of this clutch bag is knitted flat in two pieces. Stitches are then picked up along one edge of the back piece to work the flap. Finally, it is lined (the perfect excuse to use a special fat quarter of fabric) and a magnetic clasp is added as a fastening.

This issue is on sale now in supermarkets, newsagents and craft stores across the UK and on our website. It is also available digitally via our apps for Apple and Android devices and through Pocketmags here.
