The Collinwood Collection is a group of delicate lace projects, each of which will lend a touch of elegance to your home or wardrobe. Patterns for the small doily, the large doily with an option for two different centers, the table centerpiece, and the circular shawl or tablecloth are all included. This ebook includes 27 pages of written and charted instructions which explain all the listed projects. You may also buy Collinwood as an ebook on Knit Picks here: http://www.knitpicks.com/cfPatterns/EBook_Display.cfm?id=75090D

Collinwood is knitted in fingering weight yarn on double pointed and circular needles. The small doily uses approximately 50 yards or 46 m of yarn, and the large doily uses under 200 yards or 183 m of yarn. The table centerpiece uses under 450 yards or 411 m of yarn. The shawl/tablecloth, will take about 1,200 yards and 2,200 beads. The beads are optional.

The approximate size of the small doily is 9.5” or 24 cm at its widest point (including the crochet bind off). The large doily is variable in size, as you may use either one or two repeats of the edging chart. It ranges from 15” to 19” or 38-48 cm at the widest point (including crochet bind off). The table centerpiece measures 24” to 36” or 61-91 cm across at the widest point (there is a lot of variation due to tension and how hard you block your centerpiece). The shawl/tablecloth ranges in size from 45” to 64” or 114-163 cm across at the widest point. For this reason, I’d suggest using US size 5 or even 6 needles if you are planning on using it as a shawl.
