Cozy Nellie is a circular cowl. It’s cozy because you hold a strand of fingering weight yarn (about 40 g) and a strand of fine mohair/silk (15 g) together. Cast on is easy because you do it flat and then join the stitches in the round.

The lower border adds a flare as it decreases some stitches. Then the Swirl pattern is kind of mindless as you go round and round. It would be tricky to use the Magic Loop because the pattern keeps advancing. You do have some choices as to height.

A sister pattern is called Wrap-Around Nellie (also free on Ravelry) which is an infinity cowl knit with knitting worsted and mohair/silk. The two designs were originally sold as one pattern at vendor shows.
