If you love twisted stitches, or you would like to get better at twisting stitches, this may be the scarf pattern for you. (How to do a right and left twist stitch are both included in the pattern.) The twist stitches give this scarf a remarkable look of dimensionality, while the turtleneck will keep you warm in the coldest of winters. The pattern also includes instructions for an optional crochet edging.

The worsted weight insures that you can make this scarf fairly quickly using a size (U.S.) #7 or #8 needle.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting)

The twisted stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

The scarf in the sample was made with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted in colorway Berry. (https://lornas-laces.myshopify.com/collections/all/shephe...)
