Dash Cowl
The simply textured cowl be worn as a single loop, doubled, or threaded onto itself. It’s reversible and is appropriate for men or women.
The simple stitch patterning in all the coordinated accessories in the Dash set adds modern and understated sophistication to any wardrobe. Plus, they can be unisex to boot! The cowl, beret and mitts are appropriate for knitters of all skill levels and is worked in the round.

Sample worked using Three Fates Yarns Chione’s MCN DK (80% superwash merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 231 yds/ 201 m; 3.5 oz/ 100 g); color: lush. Dash Mitts used 2 skeins.

- A smooth DK weight wool or wool blend yarn in approximately 140 (166, 276, 386) yds/ 128 (152, 253, 353) m;
- US 5/ 3.75mm 16 (24, 40, 60)”/ 40 (80, 100, 152) cm long circular needles
- Stitch markers
- Darning needle
Gauge
18 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/ 10 cm in St. st
20 sts and 28 rnds = 4.5”/ 11.5 cm wide and 4”/ 10 cm (5 pattern repeats)
While fit is not as critical in this project, it’s still advisable to work and block a gauge swatch in the round to ensure proper sizing.
