Dashing in Fasching
This pattern is available
for $4.00.
This is a crescent shaped shawl, which means when finished, it’s shaped a bit like a half circle, and the ends have a lovely curl when draped over your shoulder.
The daisy stitch, tricky at first but then so easy you could purl it with your eyes closed, forms the textured sections in this shawl. I’ve posted a short video on you tube and linked to it within in the pattern, on the main step of this stitch.
To form the daisy, on a wrong side or purl side row: K1, P3tog, YO, P3tog, You’ll repeat this to just before the end of the row, then work a YO and K3 to finish the row.
