From Pattern Tips

From Pattern Tips:
The sleeves of this shrug are knit as part of the fronts and back. Then the fronts and back are joined together from neck to cuff using the Kitchener stitch for a smoother look.

You’re going to need both straight and circular needles to complete this project.

In order to achieve a neat appearance over curved section of ribbing, it may be necessary to block ribbing.
