Echo Lake is worked in pieces and then seamed together. The neck band is picked up after seaming and worked in the round. While the pattern calls for straight needles, if you prefer, the pieces can be knit working back and forth on circular needles.

BC Garn Loch Lomond (100% wool; 164 yards (155 meters) / 50 gm hank): 08 earth 7 (8, 8, 9, 10, 11) hanks.
The Fibre Company Acadia (60% merino wool, 20% baby alpaca, 20% silk; 145 yds/50 gm skein): sand 7 (8, 8, 9, 10, 11) skeins.
