Elaine is an asymmetrical, lighter-than-air shawl or scarf worked in a mohair/silk blend. It is crocheted in increasingly longer rows of Solomon’s Knots, and the end is a flourish of lace to add interest to the design.

Final dimensions are 56 inches (142 cm) from tip to tip and 26 inches (66 cm) at the widest point.

The following stitches were used: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, Solomon’s Knot, treble crochet, and two double crochet cluster.

The pattern pdf is 5 pages in length and contains 15 photos, including close-up photos of the beginning, Solomon’s Knots, and the lacy edging. There is also a chart to help you keep track of stitch and row counts.

Thank you so much to these wonderful testers--LeasaGraham, dsmcg, Sskcraftshop, Alivaz, jench71, and ShinyHappyDonna!
