Elm Leaf Shawlette was created especially for Knitting in The Hills Retreat organized by Hill Country Weavers.

This pretty one-skein shawlette is a perfect project for everyone! It combines the simplicity of Garter with an easy reversible lace patterning. Elm Leaf Shawlette is designed to be as big as you wish - just keep repeating! Happy knitting!

Yarn
1 skein of Goya Merino by Cecily Grove Yarns - 100% Merino; 400m/439y per 100g. Sample shown in colorway Sepia.

Needles
US #7 / 4.5 mm, circular needle 60 cm / 24” long, or appropriate size to get gauge.

Notions
tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins.

Gauge
16 sts x 32 rows in 10 cm / 4” in Garter st worked flat with needle US #7 / 4.5 mm.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
