Overview:
Elmswell Cardigan is worked seamlessly, top down, starting with the back neck. Stitches are then picked-up for the yoke along the neck edge, and the ribbed neckband continues down to form the front edges. Short rows are worked along with increases to shape the neckline and yoke before the stitches for the sleeves are placed on hold and the body is worked separately. Finally, the sleeves are worked in the round and shaped with decreases towards the cuff.

Size and fit:
The suggested fit is your own measurement +21 cm (8¼ inches) movement allowance. A diagram with finished measurements is included in the pattern. The sleeve and body length can be adjusted if preferred.
